Every year, a new batch of Influenzinum (the Homeopathic flu remedy) is prepared from the current influenza vaccine together with the previous year’s vaccine.
Homeopathic remedies are not normally used as a “preventative”. The tenets of homeopathy state that you base your remedy selection on the symptoms of an illness. When using a remedy as a preventative, obviously there are no symptoms on which to prescribe.
Influenzinum has been used by Homeopathic medical doctors for the prevention of the flu and are reporting success. There are a couple of ways to administer it. You can take the remedy once a day for a week, stop for 3 weeks, then repeat it. Or, you can take it one weekend a month (2 doses each day) throughout the flu season.
